the items are getting smaller and smaller!

it is so interesting....August 1st was a big pile of clothes...you know the ones...when you reach into the closet or the drawer and say 'nah, not today' and go for the old comfortable shirts, pants or shoes....right?
now, on August 24th, the items do not even fill a bag....an unused plastic zipper, ewww, a bag of 'who knows when that was a good idea', little items purchased at IKEA named 'UuooKorkum'...what the heck is that??? and a book that i stripped of 'the good images'.
but i did it!  
i gathered 24 items to send on  their way!  
this is truly a 'one day at a time' experience....wowza!  it is making me more mindful of the necessity of future purchases...what do i really need?  not much!
have a  great august 24th and 'purge on'....the challenge is almost over!!!
