My Little Mini-Me's

Sooooo....how do you take care of your inner child?  I am dying to hear!  I have created close to 50 of these fantastic art dolls now...still loving the process too....then it was suggested that I make some 'Inner Child Art Dolls' that are smaller...easier to stick in a purse of (large) pocket....sooooo....the little mini's were born this weekend...LOVE them!  the next part of the project is to attach their 'self care' instructions....wow...what a journey i am on!  so my question to you today is "what do you do to take care of that 'Inner Child' of yours?"  I know that sometimes I have to be grown up and take care of the daily tasks, but if I promise to 'play' with my little Madisson (my inner child ) AND I stick to that promise, all is well inside me....no resentments, no tantrums, no lashing out!  Ahhh...what a relief for me and those loved ones in my life!
So....if you could take just a moment and let me know your favorite way to nurture, protect and play with your inner child...I would very much appreciate it...

Have an oober awesome Monday!  You deserve it!

  1. there is no one way I nurture my inner child. Best thing I can do is to be loving to myself, by consciously thinking positive, by being around positive people, by implementing play in most days, and not letting my critic talk!

  2. often with crayons and paper, sometimes with bubble bath, sometimes with warm blankets. sometimes watching the movie My Neighbor Totoro which is one of the most comforting movies I know. walks int he woods, hiking, riding a bicycle. going on secret adventures to discover magical fairy worlds. listening to audio books of kids stories while drawing with crayons. probably many other things as well. I have a swarm of inner children that need a lot of care so I have found many different ways toc are for them.
