Reduced to a Number...a very moving piece for me....

a few weeks ago, Handsome Hubby and i visited the Dorothea Lange exhibit at the Oakland Museum.  I am in love with her photographs and use them frequently in my artwork.  she captures so much emotion...
i learned about the Japanese evacuation at the time of the Pearl Harbor bombing, during the was.  horrific....i was very moved (and nauseous) with the way we did...and continue to treat people...ALL lives matter...don't they?
families were allowed one duffle bag of belongs and were given paper tags with a number on it indicating the head of the family and its members...
these two adorable children were 'Reduced to a Number'
